Okay.

Am trying to upload the photos for my post how I spent my X'mas. But don't know where went wrong, again. I couldn't upload any.

I reckon it's either blogger's server is super congested because everyone are busy trying to post photos for their X'mas entry, like me. Or it's my wireless connection prob.

Without the photos, I don't feel like blogging about my X'mas.

But wanna share something quite... informative and hilarious with you all.

One of the point that given by the writer is super super brilliant and I personally feel that we gals should follow it strictly!

Order whatever you want/like to eat. Never ever share the bill with him. After the meal, pretend nothing happen and flee off!"

"Cute but kind of evil". And naughty. ^^*

Was suppose to go Bangsar to accompany mom shopping, but then I woke up pretty late (an hour ago) and she said I look quite tired too (I slept around 3am). I don't have much to shop anymore, simply because there are some nice shops and boutiques which I reckon mom may like and decided to accompany her to go there. Since then, don't go lo~ (mom said). Stay at home rest better. As long as I have the heart to accompany her, it's more than enough. Shopping can be later. No hurry. Can buy even after the YES.

Thus, I'm super free now. And only will be going for X'mas dinner with Shuan later.

Anyway, yesterday was the best day I ever had after soO long! I went out with Fish. She's back from Singapore for holiday. It has been soOOOOOOOOOOOOO long since our last time of hanging out and chat chat chat and chat.

There's no one else in this world can chat so much together with me! I can share whatever with her! Well, not only her. Some other best best buddies in the world since high school like Ching Wei and Pei Ching, but too bad both of them are in China now. :(

Really really appreciate the chat we had yesterday and it really relief me a lot.

Basically yesterday we really non=stop chatting even we are shopping around. And we can chat until like, time had stopped. :p Great day to hung out with my own sista!!!

Sometime ago...

Some old time stories.

Went to Subang Parade with Shuan last weekend. Simply because I want to go there for shopping. Thank god it didn't wasted my effort of going so far for shopping. I bought quite number of clothes, but most of them are working attire. Some of them are neutral, can be as working attire and also for my normal outing wear.

And we even "discover" that Manhattan Fish Market have Mocha Latte! Which Shuan misses the most and he thought only have in NZ. So, later is you heard him says "let's go Manhattan Fish Market yam cha!". Don't need to be surprise.

We left to Bangsar after the dinner. He was trying to look for his "All Blacks Jersey" and thought the "World of Sports" outlet in Bangsar Village may have. But in the end, he was disappointed and end up getting nothing. While I thought I would have ended my shopping of the day, who knows I "discover" some nice boutiques with clothes at reasonable price. I ended up buying few more pieces of clothes. :p

And am very sorry of holding on the post of my NZ trip. Was stop by something that triggered my emotion. And later on some other thing distracted me.

HK drama series!

It's so rare that I can be attracted to watch the HK drama series. Especially one that I feel that worth for me to spend time on.

冬至 Winter Solstice

今天是冬至，也是华人传统中“大过年”的一天。

但又有多少人懂何谓“冬至”，为什么它有大过年。

**冬至，俗称"冬节"，在古代是很隆重的节日。在二十四节气中，冬至也最受重视。

古人认为到了冬至，虽然还处在寒冷的季节，但春天已经不远了。这时外出的人都要回家过冬节，表示年终有所归宿。闽台民间认为每年冬至是全家人团聚的节日，因为这一天要祭拜祖先，如果外出不回家，就是不认祖宗的人。

冬至这一天是一年中最长的一夜，许多人家利用这一夜，用糯米粉做"冬至圆"，为了区别于后来的春节前夕的"辞岁"，冬节的前一日叫做"添岁"或"亚岁"，表示"年"还没过完，但大家都已经长了一岁。**

了乎？

藉因本小姐不爱吃汤圆，最后一次冬至时吃汤圆是在……我7、8岁时吧。嘻嘻~所以我还很年轻哦~ ^^

今天提早下班，才有闲情在此哈啦。

稍候就要冲凉，然后一家人出去吃晚餐咯！家里才3个人（外婆到大舅舅那里去了，典型的重男轻女），自己煮实在是小题大做兼劳师动众（虽然只劳我妈一人），出去吃算了。

祝大家冬至快乐！新的一年顺顺利利、平平安安！

该是快快乐乐过节之际，南马的同胞们却遭受大水灾的肆虐。唉~

最近几年的年尾，世界似乎都是在灾难中度过。虽然南马这次的大水灾比起两年前的海啸，其实不算什么，但已是对大马很大的一个打击。

祈祷……上天不要再下暴风雨，潮水快快退，可怜灾民们吧！

不要求轰轰烈烈，但求平平安安、无灾无难的度过年尾。

For those who don't know Mandarin, today is the day when the Chinese celebrate Winter Solstice (冬至:pronounce as dong zhi). Some called it as the Chinese Christmas, at some other places people called it 元宵节 (yuan xiao jie).

It's the most important event among the 24 Solar Terms in the Lunar Calendar. Traditionally, the Chinese treat it's more important/greater than the Chinese New Year.

Later...

After a scrumptious meal at a restaurant in Shaw Parade@Pudu, somewhere around Times Square. We wanted to take a taxi but the traffic was quite congested and maybe the taxi drivers wanted to rush back home for dinner too, none of the drivers willing to take us or either the taxi had been occupied. In the end, we walked to the restaurant.

Can't imagine ler~ We walked. Yeah. I live exactly at the city centre, the ideal place in the city. If I'm willing, I can walk to China Town even Sg Wang. It takes me average 20-30 minutes to reach the destination. Most of you would said "wah~ so far also walk ar". Before the monorail is built, walk is the most ideal way to avoid the traffice congestion especially during weekend. (KL people should know how bad the traffic is during weekend especially going to Sg Wang) Moreover, when there's someone to accompany along the way. You won't realise how far you have walk and will reach the destination very soon.

Quit the crap.

The dinner is pretty good, the dishes are scrumptious yet at a very reasonable price. But because of the good business and the clumsiness of the kitchen, they were short of white rice at once! Duh~ Moreover it was when all our dishes had been served, they told us no more white rice, need to wait. Our seat was just under the air-cond and all the dishes "caught cold" lo~ Sien!

Fortunately they know where their mistakes are and apologize to us and said will improve in future bla bla bla. Other than that, this restaurant is worth of going.




There should be another dish of vege, but don't know where the photo went. Perhaps I accidentally deleted it. Duh~ Clumsy me.

Ta Maa~ De

Since I was in KL Sentral yesterday to buy something, I treat myself Mcdonald's Fillet-O-Fish Extra Value Meal as dinner lo.

Who knows when I got home open the paper bag which the french fries were put inside, I saw this! The french fries is not even half full! Ta maA de!!! I paid for the large size fries but I got not even the quantity of small size fries!!!

Stupid bastard malay girl who serves me! Curse her! Dare to tipu me like that! Argh~

Never thought that have to CHECK my fries before I leave the counter! After this experience, I will check my fries before I leave. And they are soO smart too, use paper bag to cover up. They used to use only transparent plastic bag. Aha! Now I know why they use the paper bag specially for fries only!

So. Friends out there, remember to check your FRIES whether it's fully fill or not-even-half-fill before you leave the counter. Shoot them gao gao if they dare to tipu you.

And I will also boycott the Mcdonald in KL Sentral for loOng time. Cause I'm really pissed off!!!

Auckland

Finally can upload photos liao. ^^*

Reached Auckland around noon (NZ time), as I remember.

Their custom is quite strict. After filling in a white color imigration card, we need to line up for them to stamp our passport. After that got to line up again, this time the custom officers will ask us some questions like "are you sure you didn't bring any tobacco products?" (after briefly go through our white card filled in earlier). "Yes! Certainly!" was what I answered. "Good", she said something but I couldn't heard clearly. First of all, it was very noisy like in a market and the Kiwi accent really hard for me to understand what she was talking.

The last custom check differentiate to 2 or 3 categories. First is through the computer scanning (I was assign to this) and another one is the officers will search and check your luggages by HAND! Meaning you got to open your luggages and let him/her dig and dig and dig. Uuh~ Luckily I have enough luck to avoid. :p

And Auckland's International Airport is one of the world's few country using patrol K-9 to detack any suspicious items. While we were lining up, those cute K-9s were busy sniffing around our luggage. Normally they won't use big size K-9, perhaps may scare tourists away.

Finally the last round of custom checking, I can't hardly wait to step out from the airport and dedicate my first foreign step to Auckland! ^^

After months of missing and struggling finally I see the long missed HIM again in person! *touch* He gave me a big hug right after seeing me and the joyful smile on his face... Sweet!

Long hour flight was really tiring, especially when the air-condition was so cold until I can barely have a soundless sleep. Stiil, I enjoyed!

We took a taxi to the Town Center and checked into our very first accomodation in NZ, X-Base Backpackers. It's one of the famous chain backpackers in both NZ and Australia, and its concept seem mainly focus on young people.

One thing quite obvious in Auckland is, you'll see more Asian than Whites! And most them are Japanese and Korean. The whole Auckland itself is like a Chinatown (no, should be Asian Town). A glance through the crowd of people in front, I saw 90% dark hair color and only few light blonde hair color in between. So at first I had a wrong impression "I'm in a Caucasian country or what?".

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...

I was watching this week's Amazing Race Asia and coincidently they are showing the episodes when the contestants are in NZ! And I saw them take the Sky Jump. So syok! I should have go for it. Regret liao! :(

And continue to walk walk in the city center lo. That day Auckland was quite windy and cloudy. Really a bit beh tahan to the strong wind over there. Now I know the warm wind in KL is really small small case saja.

Now I know why their bus stops are built with glasses. Cause if use those plastic materials like in Malaysia, sure all blown off by the wind. And also glasses can block the wind, at least when you are sitting inside it won't be so cold. Otherwise really become an ice stick liao. :p

p/s: It was summer when we were there, but it's still cold to me. Sort of like... when Genting is having extremely windy condition, little stronger than that lar.

We went back to the backpacker after another half hour of so cause Shuan's parents and friends were pretty tired liao.

But then after accompanied them back there, Shuan drag me out again to walk. We walked to the Auckland Harbour Bay again. Two of us.

Shhh~~ Confess something to all of you. Kissing openly on the streets is really syok! *blush* Especially when it happen beside the bay with breezing wind blowing. Romantic! Hehe~

When the elders have enough rest, we went out again to search for food. Dinner time, hungry lo~

Typical Chinese need rice as dinner, but for me I really prefer to have NZ lamb steak. Anyway, we should be polite mar. Since majority want Chinese food, we will just go for it then.

Later the night, about 12am I and Shuan went to the airport to pick Shuan's sis. She'll be joining us for the trip. I was so sleepy and tired until slept in the airport. *bleh~*

We left early in the morning to Wellington for Shuan's convo but we stopped by Rotorua and Taupo in between, just for short visit.

Face matter

First of all...

Big HI to my friends who are in China.

Finally they can view blogger blog! And therefore can view my blog too! ^^ Now I don't need to copy from here and paste to my MSN Space for them to read anymore. Hurray~!

And I promised to blog about my NZ trip yah? I was trying to upload the photos the whole night and don't know what happen to blogger's server or perhaps is my network's prob, I couldn't upload any photo! *ArrgHh~*

Therefore I decided to blog about something else first. As the title mention, I'll blog something regarding "face". Let's talk about skin care now!

I believe some girls have the problem as me, dark underarm. Which is extremely embarassing, I don't even dare to raise my arm whenever I wear any sleeveless tops.

My condition was fine originally, but after I used the claim-to-be-effective Nivea Whitening Underarm Deodorant. My underarm turns darker instead! Piss me off! I stop using it immediately. Even though I have stop using for several years, my underarm still remain as dark! Tried using several methods and products to regain its fairness, nothing seems work out.

And I have another problem other than that. Everytime after I shave my underarm, the pores will be bigger and the skin will be quite rough. Irritating! Until recently I discover this Wakilala series on eBay Malaysia. I bought the Underarms Whitening Scrub/Wash Peeling to try. And wow~ the result is good and it smoothens and scrub away the dead skin! This little tube of eye refreshing gel. Though it's call gel, it's more towards as liquid actually. Haven't try yet.

Sorry. I should have start this post yesterday but couldn't move myself away from the TV. :p Have not been enjoying TV program all-I-want for long long time.

Even though I was able to post yesterday, I'm still a year late.

Guess what I wanted to blog about?

Hehe~ My NZ trip! Which happened last year. *paiseh*

I do post the photos I taken during the trip in my MSN Space, but ever since I have restricted it not many people have the chance to view them anymore. Even though, I didn't give much description of the trip in the Space. And I reckon some of you don't even have my msn contact. Therefore I decided to post it here, now. As celebration for... 1 year anniversary of my 1st ever overseas trip! ^^*

So. What I were doing on the same day of last year?

It was my big day! My first ever overseas trip! I wouldn't forget that day.

We took the MAS flight no. MH 131 to Auckland on that day, the plane was scheduled to depart at 2110.

I went to KLIA myself by KLIA Express. I reached KLIA around 6:30pm, as I remember. Quite early huh. Yes I know. Too excited liao mar. Moreover my mom needed to go for some business matter in the evening, if later than that she couldn't send me off.

Though, I enjoy my time when I was in KLIA alone. Walking here and there with my luggage on the troley. Enjoying the scene in the airport.

Shuan's family reached around 8pm. We went to check-in after that. It was so exciting when we were boarding into the plane. It's totally different from local small plane. It's more spacious and bigger! And the service is much better.

Since we took the night flight, nothing much to do. After the late supper wich served nearly 12am, we fall asleep. I couldn't sleep comfortably because the dryness on my nose cause by the air-cond. Cannot watch movie somemore, people around me were asleep. Paiseh to on the bright screen to watch movie while people want a dark environment to sleep.

The next morning when I wanted to take some photos, it spoilt. -_-# Damn! This is the worse thing to happen, especially when I was still using Nokia 8250! Without a camera phone as back-up, I really pissed off with my camera to play play with me that time! And I was like letting all the memorable scene to slip away without any photos taken.

In short.

The moment which I touch the most, emotional the most was when I was watching the plane to land on the runway of Auckland airport. I finally reached a foreign land which I have dreamt of for long time. It was like a dream come true! Honestly, I nearly cry out the moment the plant touch the land of NZ. The moment I feel the force of landing in the plane. If it was my mother beside me that time, I would have just let myself cry. But too bad, it wasn't. Therefore I kept controlling myself from falling any drop of tear from my eyes.

Tomorrow. Auckland, Rotorua and Taupo.

My exams had ended! For the moment. At least these coming few months I don't need to struggle so hard. Ha.

Friday was my last day for exam. Don't want to talk about my exam here. Since it has passed, let it be. Don't want to make myself stressful here.

Okie.

I went to shopping with my mom right after my exam. :p

The warehouse clearance sale was our first stop. Duh. Totally disappointed with the sale! They left only fragrance! It was the first day only ler. No more cosmetic! When we asked whether they'll distribute/left some cosmetic tomorrow, they said "no". o_O Then what people shop for the second day ar? Moreover the fragrance are like MNG, Loewe, Ferrari, Armani and some other brandes which I don't even know they are selling fragrances too! *roll eyes* Bah lia!

You know I ended up buying what?




A bag! A travelling bag! Which I have never thought of. Though, it's quite nice and stylish. Spacious but not too bulky. Absolutely suitable for 1 night stay trip. Yet super cheap! RM25 for two! I took one, the other had given to somebody else liao. Luckily there's still something worth of the price to buy, otherwise it's wasting my time.

If some of you are still interest on this sale. They will be having another one on the 22nd and 23rd of December, 2006 at Hotel Armada, PJ. I reckon the time will remain the same as previous, 10am-6pm.

We continued the shopping to Lot 10 Isetan. Saw something but didn't buy until the next day (2nd part of this post which will be coming up).

We crossed over to Sg Wang Plaza. Bought a lipstick from Watson and an eye-shadow from Sasa.



That's all for the first day. I was exhausted! I declared to continue the "war" tomorrow.

The next day, which was Saturday. We (as usual, me and my mom) left to the same places again after lunch.

Lot 10 Isetan is our very first battle field of the day. As I mentioned earlier, we have spotted something there but didn't buy until that day.

Guess what it is.

Ha! Yes! Bra! :p

Usually I buy bra which cost between RM39.90 to RM59.90 and must be Triumph the brand! I like this brand very very much. Comfortable ONLY with Triumph bra! *blush*

This time, finally I decided to get what I have dreamt of long long time. T-Shirt bra! Which is quite costly, I can get 3-4 pairs of normal bra with its price.

Extremely comfortable when I'm on with the T-shirt bra, feel like I'm not wearing any bra at all! Still, it supports the breast in good shape and even sexy~ The design I choose is half cup (normally I wear quarter cup). *hohoho~* Sexy girl~ Ha!

Ah-hem.

Back to something which is less exotic.

We are entitled to get a free dinner bag because we purchase more than RM300. This offer only valids at Triumph counter in Lot 10 Isetan. Though it's a free bad, it's quite nice both in terms of style and design.



It also comes with a long and short bag stripe, cool huh. I have one gold colour, and now another in silver. Collection complete!

And coincidently, Body Glove was having storewide sales of 50% for all items on Saturday and Sunday! It was really a good chance to sweap lots of T-shirts but I just bought one. Don't want to spend too much on T-shirts, I need more working attire instead.



And this is what I bought. It's special price item which less 70%! After discount, cost about RM16. Cheap!

Due to lack of motivation in shopping, I wanted to get a pair of shoes then end the shopping war. It was exhausting!

I went back to the shop where I bought my dinner high heels - Fabiano Ricco. And I got these with 20% discount.





Very oriental design huh. And it's my first pair of wedges! Totally fall in love! Can become higher but totally comfortable! I have a phobia to wear high heels for shopping liao. And because my old pairs of heels are too high, I dare not wear them any more. I only wear high heels whenever there's any dinner or I know I wouldn't need to walk a lot for that ocassion.

Due to my laziness and lack of interest to continue shop. I became a dummy. I bought something which is on Normal Price during SALE! Baka! -_-"





I bought these second pair of wedges from another shop. I tried it on, I like it! But these is without any discount because it's new stock. I was reluctant to buy initially. Then after very much consideration in very short time, I decided to buy cause I hate to walk again just because to see whether I can get similar one at other price which maybe cheaper. And in the end I'm wasting my own time! I couldn't get anything which is even similar or cheaper. Base on this fact, I decided to be the first ever dummy in my whole shopping life. Duh~



While these 2 pairs, not mine. My mom bought from Subang Parade when she was there on Sunday for some business matter. I didn't follow her. I just know that she bought them at a very cheap price, and she loves them soO much.

Though these 2 pairs are slightly more mature, she said they look absolutely nice on my feet! *vain*

"Why ar? Why recently your feet seem nicer? Any shoes on your feet also so nice? What have you done to your feet?"

"Nothing ar. I didn't wear high heels very long time jer. Thus my feet can be avoid from depress situation and have total rest. Oh! And foot scrub once in a week with some massage helps too."
